PACT (Pewsey Area Community Trust) support PWZSK8

PACT would like to see a facility in the village for the skateboarders and BMX riders to play safely. We agree that it is a good activity for young people and are prepared to work with them to see this idea come to reality.

We will act as the lead on the lease for the young people and help them get the appropriate funding applications and planning approved.  We will then help them to build the park and operate it.

PACT already has The PACT Centre (www.thepactcentre.org.uk) which involves groups of young people in community activity and this project will add a non-computer related activity for them.

We would encourage other local groups to show their support for this project.

 WOODBOROUGH Parish Council

Woodborough Parish Council wholeheartedly supports the PACT proposal for a Skate Park in the Pewsey Village. This is, yet again, a fantastic example of the Pewsey Area community seeking to work in close concert with the District Council, the police and other agencies.

Pewsey Parish Council support the Skate Project.

Pewsey Parish Council strongly supports the initiative being put forward by Mr Lee Grafton, PACT and the local police for the provision of a skatepark on land near the school.

The proposal will provide a much needed facility in Pewsey for the youth and will assist greatly with anti-social behaviour. It is hoped that all parties can work in partnership to ensure the project comes to fruition.

Yours sincerely

Mrs Alison Keers
Clerk to Pewsey Parish Council

Support the skate park - you know it makes sense.

This poor bear has been reduced to playing skate boarding on the Xbox rather than the real thing. Lets build him a park!
